Reporting a wrong figure
Rates and prices change often. If a slab, tariff, or price looks off, tell us the calculator name, what you entered, the figure you expected — and a source if you have one. We'll review and update.
Remember: every number on Takhmeena is an estimate, not an official figure. Always confirm with the relevant authority (FBR, NEPRA, OGRA, PTA, provincial Excise, your bank or utility) before acting. Terms of Use.
Frequently asked questions

How accurate are Takhmeena's calculations?
Takhmeena is built to be as realistic as possible — for example, the income-tax engine uses the official FBR salaried slabs, and the electricity and gas estimates are modelled on published NEPRA/OGRA tariffs and checked against real bills.
That said, every result is an estimate. Real bills and tax amounts depend on factors that vary by month, area, provider and individual circumstances (fuel-price adjustments, taxes, surcharges, exemptions and more). Use Takhmeena to plan and understand — not as an official bill or tax assessment — and always verify before you pay or file.
Why is my real bill or tax different from the estimate?
Some differences are normal. Utility bills include monthly variables such as fuel-price adjustments, quarterly tariff adjustments, arrears, instalments, TV fee and local taxes that an estimate can’t always know in advance. Tax outcomes can change with exemptions, rebates, multiple income sources or mid-year rate revisions.
If the difference seems very large or you think a base rate is wrong, please send us the details so we can check it.
Where do the rates and prices come from, and how often are they updated?
Reference values — tax slabs, electricity and gas tariffs, gold and silver prices, and solar equipment prices — are based on publicly available information and official notifications (FBR, NEPRA, OGRA, PTA and provincial departments). Market prices are refreshed from our data source regularly; the Rates page shows when each figure was last updated.
Prices in the open market change constantly, so treat indicative prices as a starting point and confirm current prices with actual sellers.
Is the website free? Do I need an account?
Yes — Takhmeena is completely free and there is no sign-up. Open any calculator and start typing. The site is supported by advertising, which is what keeps it free.
What data does Takhmeena collect about me?
None that identifies you. There’s no account, and the salary, units or values you enter are calculated in your browser and never sent to us. We use cookieless analytics to count page views.
Ads on the site are served by Google AdSense, which may use advertising cookies; you can opt out of personalised ads through Google Ads Settings. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Why do I see ads? Can I remove them?
Takhmeena is free, and ads (served via Google AdSense) help keep it that way. There is no paid ad-free version. You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com — you’ll still see ads, just non-personalised ones.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Takhmeena is available for Android on Google Play and for iOS on the App Store. The app works fully offline and includes the same calculators. It has its own privacy policy and terms.
Can I use the site in Urdu?
Yes. Use the language switch in the header to toggle between English and Urdu (اردو). Your choice is remembered in your browser. Legal documents (privacy policy and terms) are provided in English.
Which tax years, cities and provinces are supported?
The income-tax calculator supports multiple FBR tax years, and the utility, property and vehicle calculators cover the main Pakistani providers and provinces. Coverage grows over time. If something you need isn’t there yet, tell us and we’ll consider adding it.
The site shows brand names for solar parts and phones — are you affiliated or sponsored?
No. Any brand, product or model names appear only to help estimate typical prices or taxes. We are not sponsored by, paid by, partnered with, or endorsing any brand, and the content is not promotional. All trademarks belong to their respective owners, and indicative prices are estimates — not offers or recommendations.
I found a problem or have a feature idea.
We’d love to hear it. Use the contact form or email pakmuco.apps+support@gmail.com with as much detail as you can — your browser and device, the calculator involved, what you entered and what happened. Screenshots help a lot.
